INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP women's tennis team landed second in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) listing, adding four student-athletes among the last set of singles and doubles rankings for the year.
 
Following a season that included a conference championship and a berth in the NCAA Round of 16, tje Crimson Hawks were second overall in the Atlantic Region, slotting only behind Charleston (W.Va.) as the top-ranked team in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).
 
Individually, Karolin Kirchtag (3rd), Natalie Kmoskova (6th), Joanna Stralka (13th) and Katy Graydon (17th) secured four of the top 20 singles rankings in the region.
 
In doubles, Stralka and Kmoskova were the top-ranked team in the region after a stellar 19-1 record as a duo, earning All-PSAC honors. Kirchtag and Graydon were listed fifth among the 10 ranked doubles groups, going 13-7 as an All-PSAC pairing.
 
Kirchtag went 22-8 for IUP atop the singles lineup as an All-PSAC First team selection. Kmoskova recorded a 19-10 mark, primarily in the No. 2 spot of the lineup.
 
Stralka, an All-PSAC First Team and ITA Atlantic region Most Improved Senior, finished second on the team in singles victories with a 21-10 record.
 
Graydon closed out the individual rankings for IUP with a 13-12 record in singles matchups this season.
