Idle for over a month, last competing on December 9 at the Susquehanna Early Season Invite, the Crimson Hawks will look to shake off some rust before getting back into a regular competition schedule ahead of the indoor conference championships.

Through limited action in two meets, Kendall Branan is seventh in the Atlantic Region in the 400m (49.22) with Bryna Kelly ranked 11th in the region in the 60m hurdles (9.20). In the field, first-year standout SahBri Hill is fifth in the region with an NCAA Provisional mark in the triple jump (14.46m), while Ella Evans is tied for seventh in the high jump (1.57m).

The IUP swimming & diving teams return for a busy weekend of competition at the Keystone Aquatics Center on January 19-20. Following a training session down in Florida, the Crimson Hawks have been ramping back up in the new year, set for their first action since December 9 in a tri-meet against Clarion and Frostburg State.

IUP is 4-1 in dual meets this season on the men's side, while the women's squad heading into January with a 3-2 mark. Both squads will face Bloomsburg in a dual meet on January 19 before "hosting" a two-session competition on January 20 at the eventual site of the 2024 PSAC Championships.
With a young roster continuing to grow in 2023-24 for head coach Chris Villa, IUP got some strong contributions in its last meet from first-year competitors. Summer Esson and Tyler Uhlig posted a pair of wins each with Kasha Stokes adding a victory in the 100 back last time out. Stalwarts Luke Mikesell and Athanasios Diamantidis were also victorious for the IUP men on December 9, recording first-pace showings in the 200 free (1:41.63) and 100 back (56.44), respectively.
