INDIANA, Pa. – IUP built upon its halftime lead and posted a workmanlike 72-60 victory against Edinboro on Saturday afternoon at the PSAC.

IUP built its lead to double figures early in the second half and did not allow the Fighting Scots to get within single digits the rest of the way. The Crimson Hawks posted seven steals and four blocks as a team, including a pair of blocks from Sarp Furtun off the bench.

Porterfield moved into sole possession of eighth place on the school's all-time scoring list with his 18 points on Saturday, pushing his career total to 1,612. He became just the ninth player in program history to reach 1,600 career points, also surpassing 600 career field goals and 200 career three-point field goals made in the victory.
