Unseeded Maria Moskaltsova pushed No. 4 seed Sofia Krasikova to a third-set tiebreaker in the round of 16 but came up short. Charliz Tabili is still awaiting her matchup with No. 7 seed Filippa Larsson, one of two matches yet to conclude the round.
In doubles play, von Kozierowski and Calbay advanced to the semifinals after defeating the No. 3 seed. Annemiek Sterk and Hannah Beitat also secured a semifinal berth with a win over the No. 4 seed.
