EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The IUP volleyball team will face East Stroudsburg for the second time this season, this time in the PSAC semifinals. The Crimson Hawks defeated the Warriors in their first matchup inside the KCAC on Sept. 27, winning in four sets, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21, 25-17.
The Crimson Hawks swept Shepherd on Tuesday to reach the final four. Overall, IUP went 4-0 against Eastern Division opponents this season, including the PSAC postseason.
IUP continues its title defense and will look to return to the championship match. The semifinal is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, in East Stroudsburg. The winner will play either Pitt-Johnstown or Gannon on Saturday.
