IUP Women Stay Perfect With 56-49 Win at East Stroudsburg

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The Indiana University of Pennsylvania women's basketball team remained unbeaten with a 56-49 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference victory over East Stroudsburg.

IUP used a balanced scoring effort, led by Belle Bosch, who finished with 11 points and six rebounds. Teresa Maggio, Marin Miller and Nyshae' Weaver each added nine points for the Crimson Hawks.

The Crimson Hawks built a narrow advantage early and carried a 49-36 lead into the fourth quarter. East Stroudsburg cut into the deficit late, but IUP held firm down the stretch to secure the win.

Weaver contributed across the stat sheet with nine points, a team-high 11 rebounds and six assists. Bosch was efficient offensively, shooting 4 of 6 from the field and making 3 of 4 free throws.

East Stroudsburg was led by Brie Droege, who scored 13 points and pulled down seven rebounds. Lacie Kringe added 12 points, and Avery White finished with 10.

IUP shot 36.7% from the field and limited the Warriors to 32.2% shooting, using defensive stops and rebounding to close out the conference win.
