INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP Men's Basketball team won a crucial road matchup against Seton Hill Wednesday evening 

IUP improved to 12-13 overall and 7-10 in conference while Seton Hill dropped to 14-11 and 7-10 in the PSAC. 

Two hawks finished the game with 20+ points, Christian Moore with 23 points and Kymani Merraro with 20 points. Moore also added eight rebounds and six assists to his total statline. Merraro logged three rebounds, and two assists. Three Crimson Hawks were tied with 2 steals each, these players include Merraro, Moore, and Ian Herring. Tyler Grove had the first basket for the Crimson Hawks with a jumper. After Seton Hill added to their lead, IUP fought back with a 7-0 run to take their first lead of the game at 13:44. Herring scored seven points in a row for the Crimson Hawks near the end of the first half. IUP closed out the half with a layup by Merraro and gave the Crimson Hawks a five point lead, 39-34.

IUP maintained a strong buffer in the beginning of the second half with a Moore three pointer at 16:54, creating an 11 point lead. Seton Hill erased the deficit and acquired their first lead of the second half at 7:11, but the Crimson Hawks rallied back with Moore scoring the five straight points and the Hawks never looked back. The game sealing free throw was made by Herring to give IUP a two-score lead. Sarp Furtun scored the last point of the game as IUP won 75-71 in this pivotal conference match.
