IUP closes out the 2025 PSAC Swimming Championships with four more All-PSAC honors

YORK, Pa. -- IUP concluded the four-day 2025 PSAC Swimming Championships with four more All-PSAC honors, and freshman Gem Crittenden was awarded Most Outstanding Swimmer on Thursday.

Overall, the women's team finished third with 906.5 points and the men's team finished fifth with 391 points. 

Gem Crittenden was awarded with most outstanding swimmer after she posted two individual titles and two more first place finishes that came a part of relays. She also noted two fifth and one sixth place finish throughout the week.

In the 1650 free, Avital Flaishman placed sixth with a time of 17:49.57, and Jensen Westrick placed 24th with a time of 19:31.54. On the men's side, Ty Uhlig placed fourth with a time of 16:04.98.

In the 100 free, Katie Crosscut placed 11th with a time of 52.20. Luke Mikesell placed eighth (45.92) and Stephen Goff placed 11th (46.02) for the men.

Kasha Stokes picked up her fourth first-place finish this week with a time of 2:00.29 in the 200 back, she also posted an NCAA B standard. Lilly Farmer placed in the B Final with a time of 2:07.37 followed by Jordan Crupie in the C Final with a time of 2:09.97.

Alexander Roth earned All-PSAC honors with his third place finish in the 200 back (1:50.05) and was followed by Luke Ramalho with a time of 1:53.38 in eighth place.

IUP earned another All-PSAC finish, with Kyla Kramer slotting third in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:21.56. Tina Cudina (4th; 2:23.06) and Catrina Miller (5th; 2:23.22) occupied the next two spots. Hiba Laknit placed 15th in the B Final (2:28.21).

Thano Diamantidis picked up his second first place finish this week in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:00.20. He also posted an NCAA B standard.

IUP ended the evening with the 400 free relay; the women's placed sixth (Crosscut, Stokes, Crittenden, and Flaishman), and the men's placed fifth (Vaow, Roth, Goff, and Mikesell).

Select swimmers from IUP will travel to the NCAA Division II Swimming Championships four a five day event, taking place March 11-15. More information to come.
