INDIANA, Pa. -- The IUP women's lacrosse team concluded the 2025 campaign with a dominant 20-goal win over Edinboro Saturday afternoon in Miller Stadium.
IUP finished the season 6-11 overall and 4-6 in conference action.
Brenna Whiteside led the team with five goals while five players netted two each, and another five scored once.
Emme Mass netted IUP's first goal of the day at 12:56 and Whiteside followed with two consecutive goals at 10:38 and 7:51. Edinboro scored their lone goal at 2:47, and Maggie Kilgallon responded with a goal of her own 30 seconds later after winning the draw control.
In the second quarter at 13:42, Whiteside scored IUP's fifth goal of the day and her third. Keira Baskot found the net at the 8:00 minute mark, while IUP scored four more goals off quick draw control wins. IUP headed into the half ahead by nine, 10-1.
Maggie Boyle's goal at 14:47 in the third quarter began the running clock. Baskot and Lauren Riggs each scored within the first five minutes. Macenzie Haragos assisted Whiteside at 8:09, and the Hawks' final goal of the quarter came just under the two minute mark by Alexi Crosby.
Angela Xenakis in the fourth quarter at 12:53 netted her first of the day, and Leah Moyer scored at 9:33 to put IUP ahead, 17-1. IUP added three more goals around the seven minute mark, from quick draw control wins to finding the net.
