LEBANON, Pa. – The IUP men's golf team heads east this weekend to compete in the PSAC Men's Golf Championships at Iron Valley Golf Club.
The Crimson Hawks enter the conference championships following a consistent fall season that featured top-10 team finishes in all four tournaments. IUP's best finish came at the Dr. Wally Edgell Invitational, where the Crimson Hawks placed second in the 17-team field.
IUP has also collected five individual top-10 finishes across its four fall events. Jon Vinge and Eli Bintrim recorded the team's best individual finishes of the season, tying for fourth at the Edgell Invitational.
Junior Trevor Todd has provided consistency throughout the fall, leading the Crimson Hawks with a 72.83 scoring average across 12 rounds and four tournaments. Sam Bishop, Zaiden Dennis and Vinge are all within one stroke of Todd's season average.
Todd also owns IUP's lowest round of the fall, firing a 67.
The PSAC Championships field features five golfers who finished inside the individual top 10 at last year's conference tournament.
West Chester enters the weekend as the defending conference champion after capturing the 2025 title. IUP finished fourth at last year's championships at 38-over par. The Golden Rams were the only team to finish below 30-over, posting a three-round score of 27-over par to claim the team title.
Competition begins Friday at Iron Valley Golf Club, with the opening tee times scheduled for 10 a.m.
Todd will be the first Crimson Hawk on the course, teeing off at 10:50 a.m. IUP's five golfers will follow in 10-minute intervals, with the final Crimson Hawk beginning his opening round at 11:30 a.m.
