The initial rankings are presented alphabetically rather than by seed. The Atlantic Region teams included in the first release are:

The Crimson Hawks currently sit atop the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division standings entering Wednesday's matchup with Seton Hill.
If the season concluded at the time of the rankings release, IUP would earn a first-round bye in the conference tournament and host an Eastern Division opponent in the PSAC quarterfinals scheduled for Wednesday, March 4.
