The IUP Women's Basketball team welcomes Clarion in a Senior Night matchup, tip off is set for 1:00PM inside of the KCAC

Most recently, IUP rolled past Seton Hill in IUP's third contest in a row winning by 15+ points. Clarion has been unable to find their footing, losing their last four of five contests.

TIPOFF NOTES
>> At this point in his tenure, head coach Craig Carey owns a .756 winning percentage, ranking second in program history behind Tom McConnell whom posted a .798 winning percentage through eight seasons.
>> IUP holds the second most accurate offense in the entirety of Divison II. The Crimson Hawks wield an efficient .513 field goal percentage.
>> IUP's 80.1 PPG on offense is ranked second in the PSAC and seventh nationally. Defensively, IUP's 56.2 PPG allowed on defense is among the top three in the conference.
>> The Crimson Hawk's scoring margin of +24.0 leads the PSAC and ranks third in Division II.
>> Coach Carey rosters four seniors, Ali Hardwell, Nyshae' Weaver, Marin Miller, and Ellie Wilkerson have all been fundamental pieces of the success that the Crimson Hawks have experienced this season.
>> Hardwell has been a key rotational piece for the Crimson Hawks, appearing in every game off the bench.
>> Weaver leads the team in scoring at 15.3 points per game while grabbing a team high 9.0 rebounds per game.
>> Miller's generous playmaking has been a key fundamental of Coach Carey's offense. Miller has recorded six games of 5+ assists and leads the Crimson Hawks with a total of 68 assists.
>> Wilkerson's scoring has been essential for IUP's offense, Wilkerson has scored 10+ points in the last seven of ten matchups.

CLARION AT A GLANCE
IUP welcomes Clarion to the KCAC, the Golden Eagles hold an overall record of 12-11 and a conference record of 7-10. Most recently, Clarion fell to Edinboro on the road 63-78 to continue their losing skid.

Leading the Golden Eagles in scoring is sophomore guard Zoe Guice. Averaging 15.1 PPG, Guice also leads the Golden Eagles with 84 assists and 57 steals.

Sophomore guard Arianna Seitz is another offensive playmaker on the Golden Eagles. Ontop of great production of 14.1 PPG, Seitz also averages 6.0 Reb/G. Defensively, Seitz has accumulated 28 steals and 12 blocks so far this season.

SERIES HISTORY
IUP dominates the all-time series against Clarion. Dating back from 1984, IUP leads the all-time series 60-23. Before handing IUP their first defeat of the 2025-26 season earlier in the year, IUP won the last 15 contests against Clarion.

RED-HOT PRECISE OFFENSE
IUP ranks second in the PSAC in overall offense and seventh in Division II, averaging 80.1 points-pergame. Bearing the second most efficient offense in Division II, IUP holds an extremely efficient .513 team field goal percentage. Nyshae' Weaver leads IUP and ranks second in the PSAC with a .589 FG%. Teresa Maggio is not so far behind Weaver in the PSAC, ranked sixth with a .525 FG%.

DILIGENT DEFENSE
The Hawks also find themselves among the top three in the PSAC in points allowed per game. Surrending only 56.2 points per game. Coach Carey's elite defensive doctrine ensures that no team can respond with ease.

CRASHING THE GLASS
The Crimson Hawks have been excellent rebounding and preventing opponents from rebounding. As a team, IUP grabs 40.3 REB/G, which puts them fifth in the PSAC. Defensively, IUP has completely denied opponents of any second-chance opportunities. IUP allows only 26.6 rebounds per game which ranks first in the PSAC. IUP's rebounding margin of +13.8 is fourth best in Division II.

GENEROUS PLAYMAKING
On top of IUP's elite scoring and rebounding, Coach Carey ensures that the ball gets through the hands of every player on the court. The Crimson Hawks as a team average 16.78 assists per game, which topples the rest of the PSAC. IUP's 386 total assists accounted also leads the rest of the PSAC. Marin Miller leads the team with 68 assists.
