EDINBORO, Pa. — Dallis Dillard recorded a double-double with 30 points and 12 rebounds to power Indiana (Pa.) to a 73-63 victory over Edinboro on Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference men's basketball action.
The Crimson Hawks controlled much of the game, taking a 32-28 lead into halftime before extending the advantage in the second half. IUP's defense limited Edinboro's shooting opportunities while timely scoring runs helped keep the Fighting Scots at arm's length down the stretch.
Christian Moore added 16 points for Indiana, while Kymani Merraro finished with 14 points to give the Crimson Hawks three players in double figures. IUP shot efficiently from the field and converted key free throws late to secure the conference road win.
Edinboro was led by Bryce Baez, who finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Mekhi Reynolds added 14 points. The Fighting Scots struggled to find consistent offense against IUP's defensive pressure.
IUP will be back on the raod this Wednesday as the team will travel to Johnstown to take on the Mountain Cats. Tip-off will be around 7:30 p.m.
