INDIANA, Pa. — The IUP women's tennis team earned a program-record 13th consecutive victory Saturday, defeating Edinboro 7-0 at Maple Street Courts.
The win marked IUP's ninth sweep of the season, including three in PSAC play. The Crimson Hawks have not lost since March 1, posting a 16-2 record against Division II opponents.
Challenging conditions, including 30 mph winds and pre-match hail, did not slow IUP. The Crimson Hawks swept the doubles matches, including a walkover at No. 3.
In singles play, Lea von Kozierowski earned another win at No. 1. Charliz Tabili also continued her strong play with a 6-3, 6-0 victory at No. 4.
The Crimson Hawks will look to extend their winning streak to 14 when they travel to Clarion on Wednesday.
