CALIFORNIA, Pa. – The IUP Crimson Hawks women's tennis opened PSAC West road play in dominant fashion, defeating California Vulcans women's tennis 7-0 in a match that lasted under two hours.
IUP swept all three doubles matches to take an early lead, highlighted by Asel Callbay and Hannah Beitat, who earned a 6-0 shutout at No. 2 doubles.
The Crimson Hawks continued their momentum into singles play, securing victories across the board. Isabelle Oikawa Torres and Maria Moskaltsova each posted 6-1, 6-1 wins in their respective matches, while Lea von Kozierowski delivered a 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles.
IUP returns to the road Tuesday for continued PSAC action with a matchup at Lock Haven.
