INDIANA, Pa. — Four members of the IUP women's tennis team earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors Tuesday.
The award recognizes student-athletes who maintain at least a 3.50 GPA and compete in a minimum of 70 percent of their team's matches.

Beitat reached a milestone during the season, becoming the 21st player in program history to record 100 career victories.
Kafka posted a 20-6 singles record, winning nearly 80 percent of her matches this season.
Oikawa Torres also won close to 80 percent of her matches and was recognized for her leadership and energy, earning a nomination for Teammate of the Year at the Crimson & Gray Awards.
Von Kozierowski, who maintained a 4.0 GPA through her junior season, will advance to the Academic All-America ballot. Earlier Tuesday, she was also named the ITA Atlantic Region Player to Watch.
