LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — IUP women's tennis continued to add to its historic 2026 season Thursday as the Crimson Hawks earned six All-PSAC selections, highlighted by freshman Charliz Tabili being named PSAC West Freshman of the Year.
The postseason honors come just days after IUP captured the NCAA Atlantic Regional pod championship to advance to the NCAA Division II Championships in Surprise, Arizona.
The Crimson Hawks finished second in the PSAC during the regular season and reached the conference championship match for the sixth consecutive year before making another deep postseason run in the NCAA Tournament.
Leading the way for IUP on the All-PSAC first team were Maria Moskaltsova and Lea von Kozierowski, who both earned recognition in singles competition after standout seasons near the top of the lineup.
Moskaltsova also earned first-team doubles honors alongside senior Annemiek Sterk. The pairing consistently delivered key points for the Crimson Hawks throughout the spring and played a major role in IUP's postseason success.
Von Kozierowski was one of the top singles players in the Atlantic Region this season, posting a strong record at the No. 1 position while recently being named the ITA Atlantic Region Player to Watch entering her senior year.
The second team featured two more Crimson Hawks in singles play, with sophomore Asel Calbay and freshman Charliz Tabili both earning all-conference recognition.
Calbay put together one of the strongest doubles seasons on the team while also winning nearly 60 percent of her singles matches. Earlier this week, she was named the ITA Atlantic Region Most Improved Player.
Tabili made an immediate impact in her first collegiate season after arriving from San Diego, Calif. She earned PSAC West Freshman of the Year honors after totaling 40 combined singles and doubles victories during the 2026 season.
Tabili also earned second-team All-PSAC doubles honors alongside Isabelle Oikawa Torres. The duo became one of IUP's most reliable doubles pairings throughout the season.
The Crimson Hawks now turn their attention to the NCAA Division II Championships in Arizona, where IUP will look to continue its postseason run against the nation's top teams.
