Biography

2013: Played in nine games, earning eight starts at two different positions…Opened the season as the starting center at Southern Connecticut State (9/7)…Started four games at right guard before moving back to center for the final three games of the season… Helped the Crimson Hawks to the third-best rushing offense in the PSAC, averaging 216.7 yards per game on the ground…They rushed for 200 or more yards six times during the season, including each of the past four games…IUP averaged 280.0 yards during that span, with a school record 315-yard performance by De’Antwan Williams in the season finale at Shippensburg (11/16)… Williams finished the season with 1,347 yards, fourth in the PSAC and 16th in Division II…Was also part of an offensive line unit that finished 12th in the nation by giving up just 10 sacks (0.91 per game)…IUP finished sixth in conference with 36.4 points per game and seventh in total offense with 418.8 yards per contest.

2012: Played in 12 games...The Crimson Hawks gained 3,630 yards on the ground, second in the PSAC…The Crimson Hawks rushed for more than 300 yards four times during the year including a season-high 388 yards on 58 carries against Slippery Rock…The Crimson Hawks also rushed for 343 yards on 48 carries against Lock Haven, 323 yards on 55 carries against Cheyney and 310 yards on 57 carries against Southern Connecticut State…IUP gained more than 200 yards in 12 of the team’s 14 games…The Crimson Hawks allowed just 11.0 sacks on the season, second in the PSAC.

2011: Played in 10 games, starting in eight...
Helped IUP to 188.0 yards rushing per game, sixth-best in the PSAC...The Crimson Hawks ran for more than 200 yards four times during the season, including a season-best 253 yards on 51 carries in the opening win over East Stroudsburg...IUP also rushed for 249 yards in the win at West Chester, 216 in the win over Edinboro, and 203 in the win over Gannon...The Crimson Hawks allowed just 17 sacks in 10 games, tied for fourth-best in the PSAC.
