Biography

GENERAL: One of IUP's most experienced defensive players with 32 games played and 23 starts in three seasons ... A starter as a true freshman, he was a key reserve during his sophomore season before moving back into the starting lineup as a junior in 2016 ... Has played both the free safety and strong safety spots ... Has 152 tackles and seven interceptions in his career ... Will play major role as a senior and is expected to be a contender for postseason awards. 

2016: Returned to the Crimson Hawk secondary as a starter ... Finished second on the team with 68 total tackles ... including 32 solo stops ... Had 2.5 tackles-for-loss ... Tied for second on the team with three interceptions ... Had a season-high 14 tackles, including two tackles-for-loss and an interception home against Seton Hill ... Was also part of arguably the most exciting play of IUP's season, a blocked extra point against the Griffins that was ulimately returned by Steve Franco for two points ... Posted 10 tackles and a forced fumble home against Bloomsburg. 

2015: Played in 11 games and started in two ... Finished season with 35 tackles ... Tied for second on team with 3 interceptions ... Season-high 8 tackles in Coal Bowl victory home against Cal. 

2014: Started in all 10 games in which he played as a true freshman free safety...Finished fourth on the team and led all IUP freshmen with 49 total tackles...Third with 30 solo tackles...Had 2.5 tackles-for-loss...Broke up eight passes, including 30-yard interception return for a touchdown...Recovered one fumble...Had eight tackles and interception return for a score in collegiate debut against Saint Augustine's (9/6)...Notched season-high 11 tackles, including eight solo, and broke up three passes at Kutztown (9/13)...Totaled eight tackles in each of last two games, also breaking up a pass and recovering a fumble at Gannon (11/8)...Broke up two passes and had a tackle-for-loss against Clarion (11/1).

High School: Compiled 200 career tackles with 8 interceptions in his high school career…named 2-time 1st team All-Conference…named 2nd team Big 15…also played basketball…was a District Champion in basketball and a State Champion runner-up at Susquehanna Township high school.
