Originally committed to Virginia Tech and spent the 2008 season at Alfred State where he had 34 tackles and six sacks and was named to the All-Northeast Football Conference team. 

2009: Made 34 tackles, 9 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks last season, tying for the team lead in the latter category…also forced three fumbles…totaled 18 tackles over the final three games of the season, including 10 vs. Clarion and four each vs. Gannon and Kutztown while posting three solo sacks and sharing in another. 

High School: A 2007 graduate of Dwight Morrow High School…named the No. 11 weakside defensive end in the country by Rivals.com and the seventh-best overall prospect in New Jersey by Super Prep following his senior year. 

Personal: Born Jan. 19, 1988...son of Wardell Hampton and Sandra Gee...majoring in sports administration.
