Scott Kaniecki

Scott Kaniecki begins his fourth season with IUP in 2011 as he’ll coach the tight ends for the Crimson Hawks. As an assistant in 2010, Kaniecki helped coach the quarterbacks, kickers and punters and as a graduate assistant coach in 2008 and 2009, he coached quarterbacks and receivers.

Kaniecki came to IUP in the fall of 2008 after his graduation from SUNY Brockport, where he was a wide receiver and four-year member of the Golden Eagles football team.

While with the Crimson Hawks, Kaniecki has performed quality control duties, working with film and preparing scouting reports, while also working with official and unofficial recruiting visits. He’s also acted as an academic tutor and mentor.

He played scholastically at Grand Island High School in New York, graduating in 2004.

Kaniecki received his Master’s degree in Sport Administration from IUP in 2010 and has been a member of the American Football Coaches Association since 2009.
