One of the top running backs in the nation the past two years but was moved to cornerback in the spring…depth at the running back position, a need at corner and Robinson’s athletic ability and willingness to make the conversion all factored in the decision.

Career Stats (entering 2010 season): Ranks ninth in school history with 2,179 rushing yards and scored 18 touchdowns on the ground while adding two receiving touchdowns.

2009: Named first team All-PSAC West for the second straight season after rushing for 906 yards and five touchdowns and catching 14 passes for 137 yards…posted four 100-yard games and had a season-best 169 vs. Millersville including an 83-yard touchdown run…gained 112 yards and scored two touchdowns vs. Clarion. 

2008: Led the PSAC and ranked eighth in the nation with an average of 120.3 rushing yards per game and scored 13 touchdowns…his 1,203 yards on the ground ranks 10th on the IUP single-season rushing list…second only to teammate Craig Burgess in the PSAC with a scoring average of 7.8 points per game…ran for a career-high 229 yards and three touchdowns vs. Clarion and added 215 yards and two scores two weeks later vs. Kutztown…ripped off a career-long 85-yard touchdown run among his 178 rushing yards on only 14 careers in the season opener vs. C.W. Post…also scored from 84 yards out vs. Lock Haven, 79 vs. Clarion and 77 vs. Kutztown. 

2007: Redshirted after suffering a broken leg in practice prior to the start of the season. 

2006: Played in eight games as a backup running back as a true freshman…carried 27 times for 70 yards including 51 yards on only five rushes in his first game vs. East Stroudsburg…starred in the win over Clarion when he caught two passes for 46 yards, with both plays going for touchdowns…averaged 17.5 yards on six kickoff returns with a long of 36 vs. Millersville. 

High School: A 2006 graduate of Cedar Crest High School…rushed for 2,900 yards and 40 touchdowns in four prep seasons, averaging over seven yards per carry…named first team all-county and all-section at both running back and defensive back as a senior, the second straight year he received those two honors on offense. 

Personal: Born June 3, 1987…son of Richard Robinson and Valarie Moyer…majoring in sports administration.
