Rob Zewe

Rob Zewe wrapped up his second year as an assistant coach during the 2017-2018 season.

Zewe is responsible for player development, video breakdown, scouting preparation and recruiting. The 2017-2018 team won the PSAC West Regular Season Championship for the second year in a row finishing with a record of 22-8.

Zewe played an integral role in the development of All-American and PSAC Player of the Year Anthony Glover Jr. Glover was considered one of the nations top guards.

In 2016, Zewe joined the IUP staff and helped lead the Crimson Hawks to a 28-4 record. IUP finished the season sweeping the PSAC West on its way to another Regular Season Championship. Zewe worked with Jacobo Diaz who earned All-American honors and received the PSAC Player of the Year award.

Zewe is involved in skill development training across the country and founded The Hoop Academy, which is based in Pittsburgh. He has worked with NBA, overseas professionals, college players all the way down to the grassroots. He is involved with the Hoop group and leads skill development sessions during their Elite Camps.

In 2013, Zewe won an AMCC Tournament Championship playing for Penn State Behrend before transferring to the University of Pittsburgh to obtain a degree in Exercise Science.

Zewe, a native of Pittsburgh, played at Baldwin High School under Kyle Degregorio. He earned All-WPIAL honors and played in the Roundball Classic All Star game as a high school senior.
