Coach Jordan Sylvia

Jordan Sylvia

  • Title
    Assistant Coach

Jordan Sylvia begins her first full season as head assistant coach after serving as a volunteer assistant during the fall under head coach Shawna Bellaud. She was promoted following the fall campaign and returns to her alma mater with a strong understanding of the program’s culture and championship expectations.

“It’s special to welcome Jordan back to the program, but it’s even more exciting to bring her back as a coach,” Bellaud said. “She embodies the competitive spirit and selflessness that defines IUP Softball. Jordan understands our expectations, our culture and what it means to compete at a championship level. She’s prepared to pour into our student-athletes and help push this program forward.”

As a standout student-athlete, Sylvia competed four seasons for the Crimson Hawks, compiling a .319 career batting average with more than 100 runs scored and 170 hits. She ranks among the program’s top 10 in career home runs with 20, including a career-best eight during the 2024 season.
