Rachel Rodriguez returns to her alma mater as a member of the IUP softball coaching staff in 2023. 

A four year member of the IUP softball program from 2018-21, Rodriguez is a registered dietitian helping with multiple facets of the program. 

IUP won 17 games and advanced to the PSAC Tournament, winning an elimination game against East Stroudsburg in May 2022. 

Earning IUP Women's Breakthrough Athlete of the Year in 2021, Rodriguez hit .350 as a senior and posted a nine-game hitting streak.
