Biography
General: Enters the season with 985 points... Would become the 20th player in IUP history to reach the 1,000 point mark.
2011-12: Pastorek wrapped up the season by being named Honorable Mention All-American by both the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and the Division II Bulletin… She was also considered one of the best players in a very strong Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in earning first team All-PSAC honors… The unquestioned leader of a team that made a run to the semifinals of the NCAA regional, Pastorek averaged 14.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, both tops for IUP… Starting all 30 of the Crimson Hawks games, she had a 48.4 field goal percentage (164-339) and a 75.8 free throw percentage (116-153)… She also led the team with 25 blocks and was second with 58 assists and 56 steals… Pastorek wrapped up the season by reaching double-figures in scoring in the final 18 games, averaging 20.5 points in IUP’s four conference and NCAA tournament games… She shot 45.2 percent (28-62) from the floor and 83.9 percent (26-31) from the free throw line during those postseason games, grabbing 6.5 rebounds per game with 12 assists, six blocks… She scored 26 points on 10-16 shooting in the regional semifinal against Edinboro… Pastorek scored 19 points against Gannon and Bloomsburg in the PSAC tournament and also scored 18 points against the Huskies in the opening round of the NCAA tournament… Pastorek had six double-doubles on the year, including two straight against Kutztown (12 points, 17 rebounds) and Seton Hill (15 points, 10 rebounds)… She also recorded a double-double against California with 15 points and a career-high 18 rebounds… She scored a season-high 27 points in just 26 minutes against Mansfield… Including the two postseason games, Pastorek scored at least 20 points four times during the season, going for 24 against Clarion and 21 at Mercyhurst.
2010-11: Pastorek was named second team All-PSAC West after starting 27 games and leading the team with 12.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game… Also led team with 56 steals and 16 blocks… Finished fourth on team with 42 assists… Shot 49.1 percent (135-275) from the field and 66.3 percent (55-83) from the foul line… Averaged 27.3 minutes per game… Reached double-figures in scoring 20 times… Had six double-doubles… Scored season-high 28 points with 10 rebounds against La Roche… Had 18 points and 11 boards against West Liberty… Scored 21 points and had 12 rebounds and four assists against Kutztown… Had 10 points and 11 rebounds at Edinboro… Had back-to-back double-doubles against Edinboro and at Clarion, averaging 15.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in those two games… Scored 19 points against Clarion… Scored 17 points at Mercyhurst.
2009-10: Named PSAC West Freshman of the Year after averaging 10.2 points and 5.2 rebounds in 21 games… Started four times, averaging 21.6 minutes a game during the season… Shot team-best 52.0 percent (79-152) from the floor and 71.4 percent (55-77) from the foul line… Led team with 19 blocks and had 27 steals… Finished third on team in scoring and rebounding… Reached double-figures in scoring 10 times… Had 12 points, five rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes in first collegiate game against Washington Adventist… Had first career double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench at Slippery Rock… That game started streak of three straight 20-point games, averaging 22.7 points and 9.7 rebounds… Had 22 points and nine rebounds against Edinboro… Had 21 points, eight rebounds and four assists at Clarion… Posted double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds at California… Scored 18 points against Slippery Rock.
