During the 2023-24 seasons, the Cougars broke 24 school records between the indoor and outdoor seasons and set 3 PAC Records. For the first time in school history, the program sent athletes to consecutive indoor and outdoor NCAA Championships. She then qualified for the Outdoor Championships in Triple Jump, Long Jump, and the Heptathlon where she placed 4th, 9th and 7th respectively earning her fourth and fifth All-American honors and her first Second Team All-American.Â
Throughout the 2022-23 seasons, the Cougars broke 11 Indoor Track & Field School Records, and a pair of Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) records in the Women’s 4x400m Relay and Women’s Triple Jump. The team carried this momentum into the outdoor season where an additional 20 School Records were broken between the programs. Sophomore Aurielle Brunner was awarded Field Athlete of the Year, and Overall Athlete of the Year while graduate student, Carlee Domke, was awarded Track Athlete of the Year. Five events across three athletes were awarded USTFCCCA All-Region honors at the conclusion of the track season (Brunner - TJ, LJ, HJ, Domke - 400H, Erwin - 10K).
Brunner & Domke went on to become Chatham’s first ever NCAA qualifiers in track & field.
