Caitlin Morrow began her tenure at IUP as an assistant women's lacrosse coach in January 2023. She is set to begin her second season with the program during the 2023-24 school year. 
 

IUP had a program-record four IWLCA all-region honorees in 2023: Sarah Reustle, Kathryn Burke, Maggie Marsteller and Sami Shutt asd second team selections. Going 12-6 overall and 10-2 in conference play, IUP landed six student-athletes on the all-conference list for 2023. Morrow stepped in during the season, filling in as the team's interim head coach while Brenna Gallagher Roan was on a brief paternity leave. 

The only two conference losses came to eventual PSAC West champion Seton Hill. The 12-6 Crimson Hawks matched their record from 2022 and advanced to the PSAC Tournament for the fourth consecutive playing season. 

IUP ranked eighth in NCAA DII in scoring defense (8.33) and seventh overall in draw control percentage (.590). Overall, IUP outscored its opponents by a 238-150 margin for the season. 
 

Morrow brings no shortage of high-level lacrosse playing experience and knowledge to Indiana, previously competing for five years at as a student-athlete at Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) member institution Lock Haven. A two-time All-PSAC First Team honoree at attack in 2021 and 2022, Morrow earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Lock Haven.
 
Epitomizing the true definition of student-athlete, Morrow earned a spot on the Dean’s List and PSAC Scholar Athlete distinction throughout her undergraduate tenure from 2018-22. Recently working as a club coach for the Long Island Legacy sixth grade team, Morrow gained valuable lacrosse coaching experience by directing practices and game play, teaching strategies and techniques, managing and supervising the program and more.
 
Morrow participated in the prestigious 2022 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) DII All-Star Game, which annually celebrates the best players from the graduating class of women’s lacrosse student-athletes. She later participated in the 2022 IWLCA Coaching Symposium, which helps expose potential coaches to the coaching profession and provides them with the tools, mentors and career advancement connections.
 
Morrow worked as a graduate assistant with the Lock Haven women’s volleyball program from August 2021-May 2022, coordinating game day and travel itineraries, conceptualizing and designing social media content for the program and assisting in all day-to-day functions of the program.
 
She helped Massapequa to a pair of Nassau County lacrosse championships during her high school playing career as a two-sport athlete. Morrow received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology from LHU in May 2021, completing her master’s in sport and exercise psychology one year later in May 2022.
