After being named interim head coach for IUP’s women soccer program in 2025. Elizabeth Lathrop helped lead IUP to a successful season. IUP finished the season with an overall record of 14-3-2 and an appearance in the PSAC tournament.
Five Crimson Hawks were named to All-PSAC West Team selections. Elle Smith, Emma Hays and Emily Lattea were all also named CCA All-Region on top of their All-PSAC West selections. Smith was also named PSAC Athlete of the Year while Hays was named PSAC Defensive Player of the Year.
IUP’s Smith and Lattea were respectively ranked first and third in the PSAC in goals. Both combined for a total of 34 goals, the most by a duo in the PSAC.
