David Jacobs joins the IUP women's tennis program for his first season as an assistant coach in 2022-23. 

Jacobs will step in as head coach on an interim basis for longtime IUP head man Larry Peterson. 

Jacobs guided IUP to a 14-10 overall mark in 2022-23, helping the Crimson Hawks to a division title and the program's third straight conference crown. 

IUP won its regional pod, hosting as the number two seed, later advancing to the NCAA Round of 16.
