Darla Pennewill begins her second year as a volunteer assistant coach with the IUP women's volleyball program in 2019.
Wife of head coach Scott Pennewill, Darla has extensive coaching experience at the junior high, senior high, and club volleyball levels. As a founding coach for the South PA.’s Volleyball Club, she has served as head coach or athletic director for the entire existence of the program.
Darla recently retired from directing the York YVBC and from teaching and coaching for the Southern York County School District.
She is the assistant director for the IUP spring and summer Volleyball Camps, coordinates special events and fundraising, and will be entering her second season as the volunteer assistant coach for the IUP Women’s Volleyball program.
