Sophomore women's soccer player Lexie Palluconi has been named an IUP Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 18. 

Palluconi is a multiple winner of IUP's Athlete of the Week award, earning her second honor of the fall. The forward came up huge when the Crimson Hawks needed her the most, heading in the game-winner in a 2-1 overtime victory over Millersville. The pass from the right flank came from freshman Carley Donia (Tabernacle, N.J./Seneca), who found Palluconi set up 10 yards outside the net. Palluconi put the well-placed header past the goalie's right side for the victory.
 
It was Palluconi's eighth goal of the season and her second game-winner.
