In his senior season with the Crimson Hawks golf team, Zack Kempa took second place in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship in Hershey. Kempa's performance helped lead IUP to a third place finish at the tournament. Kempa's solid outing was not the first of the season. He claimed wins at the Hal Hansen Invitational and the Glade Springs Intercollegiate and was always near the top finishers for IUP.
