Sophomore running back Samir Bullock has been named an IUP Athlete of the Week, which was announced by the sports information office on Monday, October 2.

Bullock followed Cooper’s Friday with an impressive Saturday, as he tied the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) record with six rushing touchdowns in the Crimson Hawks’ 57-14 win at Seton Hill. Bullock’s 263 rushing yards was also the fourth highest in single game total in IUP history, as he averaged 8.5 yards on his career-high 31 carries.
 
Bullock scored IUP’s first six touchdowns, including three in the second quarter as the Crimson Hawks took a 30-14 halftime lead. He now has two 200-yard games this season.
 
It’s Bullock’s first IUP weekly honor of the year and the third of his career.
