Tanya Timko helped the Crimson Hawks to a 3-0 week by going a combined 6-0 in the first singles and doubles spots in the lineup. In singles play, two of her wins came against regionally ranked opponents, including a 6-2, 6-2 win over West Virginia State’s Brittany Franco (11th) and a 7-5, 6-1 win over Charleston’s Ana Pena (12th).
 
She also teamed with Erika Schnaas for two doubles wins over regionally ranked pairings, with West Virginia State is ranked fourth and Charleston is ranked eighth. Timko is 14-9 this year in singles play and 16-3 on the doubles side.
