Brielle Mackey (Coopersburg/Southern Lehigh) picked up her first career goal to help IUP stay alive in the playoff race and pick up a 4-0 win over Mansfield Tuesday afternoon.

The Crimson Hawk (6-5, 2-3 PSAC West) offense kept the pressure on all game as they outshot the Mounties (5-8, 3-1 PSAC West) 30-15.

Mackey's unassisted tally at 17:18 was the eventual game-winner. Anouk Sickman (Antwerp, Belgium/Lazac Cellepe) scored an unassisted goal of her own at 28:44 to make the score 2-0 at the break.

Sickman picked up right where she left off in the second half scoring unassisted at 39:11. Sickman completed the hat trick when she scored at 52:53 on a penalty corner from Lisa Bachman (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson).

Lydia Dolly (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) made eight saves for IUP and picked up the win in net and getting her second shutout on the season.

With the win IUP pulls back to within a game and a half of Mansfield for the last available playoff spot in the PSAC West and avenging 3-2 overtime loss at Mansfield.

The Crimson Hawks return to action Saturday at 1 p.m. when they host Bloomsburg at George P. Miller Stadium.
