IUP dropped a 2-0 decision at No. 1 Shippensburg on Tuesday afternoon in PSAC West action.

The Crimson Hawks (7-7, 2-4 PSAC West) were outshot 24-4 by the Lady Raiders (14-0, 5-0 PSAC West) including 16-0 in the second half.

Danielle Edwards, Trish Morris (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford), Shannon Sullivan (Pittsburgh/North Allegheny) and Lisa Bachman (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) registered shots for IUP. Lydia Dolly (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) took the loss in net giving up both goals and making 14 saves for the Crimson Hawks.

Kristina Taylor netted both goals for Shippensburg in the first half, one at 2:56 and the other at 18:28.

The Crimson Hawks return to action Saturday when they host Mercyhurst in a PSAC West match up at 1 p.m. at George P. Miller Stadium.
