Anouk Sickman (Antwerp, Belgium/Lazac Cellepe) had two goals and an assist as the Crimson Hawks shined under the bright lights of Miller Stadium Wednesday night.
Shannon Sullivan (Pittsburgh/North Allegheny) also added two goals as IUP downed PSAC West rival Slippery Rock 4-1.
Sickman got the scoring going at the 11:54 mark when she took control of a penalty corner and knocked it past the Rock goaltender for her team-leading 10th goal of the season. Sullivan would give the Crimson Hawks a 2-0 lead when she deflected a shot by
Alicia Straining (Harrisburg/Central Dauphin) into the back of the cage at the 24:44 mark.
Sullivan added her second goal of the game just five minutes into the second half when she deposited a pass from Sickman in the back of the cage to give IUP a 3-0 lead.
Slippery Rock's Lindsay Brown knocked in a loose ball to slim the IUP lead to just two with just under 20 minutes to play, but Sickman would secure the victory for the Crimson Hawks with her second goal of the game and 11th of the season when she took a beautiful pass from
Angel Bohn (Newport/Newport) and deposited the goal.

Brittany Varacallo (New Britain/Central Bucks South) played 35 scoreless minutes in the first half and
Sarah Lemieux (Dublin, OH/Dublin Coffman) had two saves in the second for IUP. The Crimson Hawks continue their five-game homestand this Saturday when the host Mansfield at Miller Stadium. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.
