AT A GLANCE
The Crimson Hawks open up their conference schedule on Wednesday night when they host Pitt-Johnstown at the Kovalchick Complex. IUP enters the contest with a 2-0 mark to start the season, getting home wins over Bluefield State and Fairmont State. The Mountain Cats, joining the PSAC West this season after the disolution of the WVIAC, are 1-1 on the season, including  a 91-58 win over Washington Adventist. 

THE SERIES
Pitt-Johnstown owns a large advantage in the series with IUP with a 34-8 all-time record. Although, IUP has been victorious in each of the last three meetings, including a 63-61 victory on the road to open up the 2009-10 season. Prior to those three games, Pitt-Johnstown had taken eight of nine meetings.

20/20 VISION
Jr. G Lindsay Stamp (Erie, Pa. /Mercyhurst Prep) is off to a hot start to the season, averaging 20.5 points as IUP has started 2-0. Stamp has a pair of 20-point games, scoring 21 in the season-opener against Bluefield State and followed that up with 20 against Fairmont State. She has a 45.7 FG% (16-35) and a 75.0 FT% (6-8).

CRASHING THE BOARDS
The Crimson Hawks are averaging 41.5 rebounds per game, with four players grabbing at least 5.5 boards per contest. Jr. F Ashley Stoner (Pittsburgh, Pa. /Thomas Jefferson) leads the team with 9.0 rpg, including 10 against Fairmont State. Jr. G Marita Mathe (Indiana, Pa. /Indiana) is second with 7.0 rpg, collecting 8 against Bluefield State.

THREE'S NOT COMPANY
Through two games, IUP is allowing opponents to shoot just 12.0 pct. from three-point range, tops in the PSAC. Bluefield State and Fairmont State shot a combined 3-25 against the Crimson Hawks. Through two games this year, Pitt-Johnstown has a 38.0 3FG%, going 30-79 from beyond the arc.

DOUBLE UP
Stoner notched her first double-double of the season - and fifth of her career - when she scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds against Bluefield State. In those five career double-doubles, she is averaging 14.6 ppg and 11.3 rpg.
