Women's Tennis PSAC Semifinal Match Postponed with IUP Leading Kutztown 3-0

Abby McCormick helped IUP to one of its three doubles wins on Friday. The Crimson Hawks lead Kutztown 3-0 and will pick up the match again on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m.

INDIANA, PA - IUP's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship semifinal match with Kutztown has been postponed due to rain with the Crimson Hawks leading the Golden Bears 3-0 after doubles play.

The match will be picked up on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m.

The number two doubles team of Tanya Timko (Cannonsburg, PA/Chartiers-Houston) and Emilia Osborne (Leighton Buzzard, United Kingdom/Cedars ) picked up the first victory for the Crimson Hawks, defeating Rachel Grula and Tori Zander 8-0. Abby McCormick (Bethel Park, Pa. /Bethel Park) and Alanna McFail (Fort Washington, Md. /St. John's College ) then beat Emily Troast and Cindy Good 8-1 at number three before Katie Eaton (Halesowen, United Kingdom/Haybridge) and Erika Schnaas (Mexico City, Mexico/Escuela Nacional Preparatoria ) defeated Ridhima Borooah and Hannah Pipkin 8-4.

Due to the change in schedule, the men's and women's championship matches have been moved back to Sunday morning. Check here for an updated schedule.
