EAST STROUDSBURG, PA - Women's soccer drops their third consecutive game to East Stroudsburg Saturday 3-0.Â
The first half proved to be a battle for both teams. IUP recorded seven total shots, and the Warriors attempted eight, but neither team was able to score.Â
East Stroudsburg came into the second half strong, scoring in the 59th, 83rd and 85th minutes. The Crimson Hawks tallied a total of only three shots the entire second half of the matchup.Â

Kelly Jacobson (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora),

Brittney Kuhns (Middleburg, Pa. /Midd-West).Â
Jessica Printz (Fairfax, Va./WT Woodson) played the entire 90 minutes and saved seven total shots.Â
This game took IUP's record to 7-4-2 overall, 7-4-1 in the PSAC. After having the best start IUP women's soccer has seen since 2009, the Crimson Hawks have lost their last three games to Edinboro, 2-1, West Chester, 2-1, and now East Stroudsburg.Â
IUP will see its next action Oct. 15 when they host Davis & Elkins at 4:00 p.m. at the South Campus Field. After that, the team will head back on the road to take on Clarion Oct. 25.
