LEESBURG, VA - IUP football player Brett Ullman (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) has been selected by the Beyond Sports Network (BSN) as a 2014 NCAA Division II Preseason All-American, as it was announced Tuesday.

Ullman, a third team selection, was 8-of-12 from field goal range in 2013, including three from outside of 40 yards and his long of 48. He was also second in scoring for the Crimson Hawks with 70 points.

The senior sits in second place in school history in field goals (37), third in extra points made (135), and fourth in points scored (246). He already owns the team single season record for field goals with 19, which happened in the 2012 season.

Ullman was been named BSN All-American once (2012) and has been named to an All-PSAC West team three times, gaining first team status twice (2011, 2012) and second team once (2013). Ullman was also named to the Daktronics All-Region third team in 2011.

This is not Ullman's only 2014 preseason honor as he was also named to the BSN 2014 Preseason All-PSAC team earlier this month.

The Crimson Hawks will start their 2014 season September 6 at noon when they host St. Augstine's at George P. Miller Stadium.
