Women’s Soccer Shut Out at West Chester

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Golden Rams got the better of IUP on Saturday afternoon as the Crimson Hawks lost 4-0 at West Chester in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon.
 
IUP drops to 6-5-2 overall with the loss, and 5-4-2 in the PSAC. West Chester improves to 9-3 overall and remains second in the conference standings with an 8-3 league mark.
 
The Golden Rams outshot IUP 21-2 on the day, including 8-2 with shots on goal. West Chester also had all four corner kicks on the day.
 
West Chester scored twice in the first half of play with goals in the sixth and 17th minutes. Two second half scores came in the 43rd and 85th minutes.
 
Junior Jessica Printz (Fairfax, Va./WT Woodson) played all 90 minutes in the net and saved four shots.
 
The Crimson Hawks enter the stretch run to the regular season with five games remaining. First up is Millersville at home next Saturday, Oct. 17 at 1:30 p.m.
