INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP men's and women's swimming teams each earned dual meet victories over Edinboro on Saturday as the men won 159-100 while the women's team won 161-93.

Mace Long (Hollidaysburg, Pa. /Hollidaysburg Area) earned two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying marks in the 100 butterfly (53.90) and 200 fly (1:58.79). Andrew Richey (Warminster, Pa. /William Tennent) set two qualifying marks as he clocked times of 22.19 in the 50 free and 49.39 in the 100 free. Corey Stauffer also qualified in both events as well swimming a 22.50 in the 50 free and a 49.67 in ther 100 free.

Other men who qualified in multiple events included Chris Strauss (Allentown, Pa. /Parkland) in the 200 (1:49.44) and 500 (5:01.16) free, RJ Hammond (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) in the 200 free (1:50.02) and 100 fly (53.88), Sterling Tate (York, PA/Dallastown) in the 100 back (53.10) and 200 back (2:04.19), Noah Brockway (York, PA/Dallastown) in the 100 back (54.28) and 200 back (2:00.73), Rodrigo Feller (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Santo Ivo) in the 200 back (2:03.11) and 200 butterfly (2:04.48), Shane Hallett (Boiling Springs, Pa. /Boiling Springs) in the 100 breast (1:00.96) and the 200 breast (2:18.01), Hussain Alzaid in the 100 breast (1:01.50) and the 200 breast (2:16.39) while Colter Long (Hollidaysburg, Pa. /Hollidaysburg Area) was a PSAC qualifier in the 100 breast (1:00.99).

On the women's side Bria Otwell (Sarver, Pa./Freeport) set three PSAC times as she clocked in times of 5:23.05 in the 500 free, 10:51.99 in the 1000 free and 2:12.10 in the 200 fly. Paige Spradling (Lancaster, Pa. /Hempfield) also tallied three qualifying times in the 100 breast (1:09.38), 200 breast (2:31.36) and the 200 IM (2:15.56).
