The Crimson Hawks used an 18-point second quarter output to take a 26-15 lead into halftime, shooting nearly 41 percent from the field. IUP then took a 12-point lead into the fourth quarter, but UVA-Wise went on an 18-4 run to take a 48-46 lead with 1:12 to play. Smith hit a jumper with 51 seconds to play to tie the game, but UVA-Wise connected on four foul shots down the stretch to seal the comeback win.
