INDIANA, Pa. – IUP women's soccer ended its three-match home stand with a 2-0 non-conference loss to Roberts Wesleyan on Thursday afternoon at South Campus Field.
It was the first loss in more than a week for the Crimson Hawks, who fell to 5-3 overall. Roberts Wesleyan evened its record at 3-3-1.
With it being a non-conference match, IUP remained in a tie with Kutztown for fourth place in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) with 12 points.
Wesleyan outshot the Crimson Hawks 12-10 on the afternoon, scoring once in each half. The Redhawks also held a 5-0 advantage in corner kicks.
After three straight home games, IUP hits the road for three straight, heading to Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday afternoon while getting back to PSAC play. Kickoff on Saturday is scheduled for 1 p.m.
