The Crimson Hawks conclude the regular season portion of their schedule when they welcome the Bloomsburg Huskies to town for the Pidgeon Memorial Invitational this weekend. After the Pidgeon Memorial Invitational, IUP will take part in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships in mid-February.

STORYLINES
• The Crimson Hawks and Huskies square off against each other in either dual meet or invitational action for the seventh time since the 2010-11 season.
• Last year against Bloomsburg, the IUP men dropped a 216-177 decision while the women fell 202-151.
• Against Alfred State two weeks ago, junior
Sterling Tate (York, PA/Dallastown) won both the 50-yard backstroke (24.75) and the 100-yard IM (57.19) while swimming a leg on the 200-yard medley relay team that finished second (1:39.19). Senior
Andrew Richey (Warminster, Pa. /William Tennent) also tallied multiple wins in the 50 free (22.06) and the 200-yard medley relay (1:39.18). He teamed with
Noah Brockway (York, PA/Dallastown),
Shane Hallett (Boiling Springs, Pa. /Boiling Springs) and
RJ Hammond (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville).
• On the women's side, sophomore
Taylor Cisik (Boyertown, PA/Boyertown) earned wins in the 50-yard backstroke (28.44) and the 50-yard freestyle (25.38). She also swam the first leg on the 200-yard medley relay team that placed second (1:59.43). Classmate
Regan Chalk (Hanover, PA/New Oxford) earned wins in the 50 fly (25.88) and the 200-medley relay (1:57.29). She teamed with
Taylor Campbell (Butler, Pa. /Butler),
Jessica Cochran (Herminie, Pa./Yough ) and
Nicole Smith (Dover, PA/Dover).
