LOCK HAVEN, Pa – IUP women's volleyball player Natalie Cignetti (Indiana, Pa./Indiana) has been named to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's (PSAC) Fall Top 10 team, as it was announced by the league office Friday.

Cignetti is senior natural science and pre-med major with a 4.0 cumulative grade point average. Since stepping onto campus in 2014, she has become the best player the IUP volleyball program has seem in the last 10 years.

This year alone, she was named the PSAC Women's Volleyball Athlete of the Year, earned All-American and All-Atlantic Region honors by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), earned a spot on the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region All-Tournament Team, and was CoSIDA Academic All-America® second team selection. 

A three-time All-PSAC selection, she finished her career second in IUP history with 3.67 kills per set and fourth with 1,283 career kills. Cignetti is also fifth with 119 service aces and eighth with 1,014 digs. 

The PSAC Top 10
Initiated in the 1997-98 academic year, the PSAC Top 10 Awards are designed to recognize student-athletes who excel in both the classroom and in athletic competition. The Top 10 Award is selected by the conference's sports information directors and given to five males and five females in each athletic season: fall, winter and spring.

With the addition of Cignetti, IUP is tied for fifth in PSAC history with 50 all-time Top 10 winners. She's one of 13 IUP student-athletes to earn multiple PSAC Top 10 honors.
