MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Freshman
Kylie Osborn had team-highs of eight kills and five total blocks as the IUP women's volleyball lost a three-setter on the road to Millersville Saturday afternoon.
It was the second road loss of the weekend for the Crimson Hawks, who are now 7-21 overall and 3-12 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). Millersville improved to 13-11 and 8-7 with the win.
The Marauders won by scores of 25-15, 25-18 and 26-24. Millersville controlled the first two sets before the Crimson Hawks rebounded with a strong third, using a 12-2 run to take a 16-7 lead. Freshman
Ally Graves keyed that IUP performance with four kills and a block assist.
IUP then built its third set lead to 23-10 before Millersville reeled off 11 straight points to make it a two-point game at 23-21. Osborn ended the IUP drought with a kill but the Marauders scored the final five points to clinch the comeback and the match victory.

Courtney Kijek and freshman
Danielle Dirkman each saw time at setter, combining for 24 assists. Senior
Breanna Damiani had a pair of aces.
Up next
IUP finishes up its regular season schedule with three road matches next week. It begins on Tuesday night in Clarion with a 7 p.m. start time.
