Lexi Griggs scored a career-high 17 points as the second-ranked Crimson Hawks improved to 11-0 with a 73-45 win over Pitt-Johnstown at the Kovalchick Complex, Saturday night.
Griggs also set career highs with eight field goals made (8-of-12) and four steals while tying a career-high with 10 rebounds. Her 17 points and 10 rebounds marked just her second career double-double with her first coming on November 10 against Alderson Broaddus (15 points, 10 rebounds).

IUP got off to a strong start and ended the first quarter on a 10-0 scoring run. The Crimson Hawks held the Mountain Cats to just six points through the second quarter, increasing their lead by 18 to end the first half 33-15.
The Crimson Hawks continued their momentum into the second half with Robinson starting IUP off with a layup and Griggs drawing a foul in the paint. IUP recorded 36 points in the paint while going 32-of-66 from the field.
Turnovers proved costly for Pitt-Johnstown as they gave up a total 26 points on 20 turnovers. The Mountain Cats improved their offense in the second half by scoring 30 points and going 5-of-12 from three-point range.
